Top Free Fitness APPS

If you work out regularly, it's easy to fall into the habit of doing the same set of exercises every time. And when you perform the same exercises repeatedly, they become easier over time. In fact, your body's nervous system, muscles, and other physiological systems can adapt to a workout routine in as little as six to eight weeks. Eventually, your workouts won't offer much of a challenge.

If you don't change up your routine, your fitness level will plateau.

To maintain a healthy and challenging exercise regimen, it's important to diversify your workouts with a variety of activities. And this is where a fitness application comes in.

Here are the top 3 free must-download fitness Apps I am obssessed with;

Running is the easiest and hardest way to get fit,you know I mean? When I first started running, I would just wear my gear and go outside but it was hard to keep track of my progress or stay motivated. Then my friend put me on to Nike Run Club and it will be a perfect running partner for you too. It helps record and track your runs, challenges to motivate yourself, coaches and audio-guided runs that are a great help and you can challenge your friends to running competitions. Did I say it's free? #fitnessdontcostathing

As  you know effective workouts are well-planned, targeted and efficient.  This app gives us that and more. Don't a have time to go to the gym as often as you would like? Work out at home. Don't have time to work out after getting home at 8pm? 10 minute workouts with vivid video guides exist. Best thing about this app is that it has challenges for abs, butt,   arm and full body in three levels helping your increase intensity low key. Scatch that,  the best thing about using this app is that you can take breaks during your workout and no one will ever know.

I will not tell you about the good yoga does for the body because you have probably heard all about it before. Challenge for me is, yoga classes are so expensive and nothing kills your motivation than a roomful of witnesses at the scene of your not nailing all those yoga poses. So I tried yoga apps. I also use YouTube videos for yoga honestly, but this keeps track of my progress and that's important. Remember to prevent your phone from sleeping for this one so as not to interrupt your workout.
