I do not know about you but as I have gotten older, its harder for me to get lost in a book. It used to be that I would spend the entire days skimming through pages. These days, I get so easily distracted by my phone. Or if am tired and I want to relax, I find it easier to unwind at the end of the day by watching a few episodes on Netflix.
I like the idea of reading but I would be lying if I said I chose it as often as I would prefer.
Then, I intentionally started reading on Sundays.

I would buy a book and some wine, have a little setup.
A form of self-care if you will.

Around that time I watched a YouTube video by Caroline Mutoko about the new Text Book Center flagship store at Sarit Center, Nairobi. All about this beautiful enormous space with a huge collection of books that you could access for free. This was just the good news I needed to hear.
I visited Text Book Centre on one Sunday and gave myself a little tour of all its sections in the enormous beautiful space that I now call my happy place, at least on Sundays.

Before I got to my favorite section, the business/motivation, I perused through the beautiful modern reading corner, the innovative artist corner and so many more.
Admiring so many books I had never seen before with the most fascinating titles.

Among those I found Michelle Obama's book.......*mic drop*

Anyway try reading on Sundays. Or going to Text Book Centre. Or Subscribe to my blog.
