Quarantine Day 32

You are reading this at a time when people all over the world are going through the unpredictable physical, mental, economic and social challenges. We seem to be going through a moment of darkness and everybody is struggling to find a solution to their afflictions. In a midst all these, let us stay in faith, whatever that means for you.

Sometimes we might require a night to see our stars.

A night where things not only seem to not be working out but there are increasing Covid-19 cases every time you watch the news. But instead of looking at the misery the darkness brings, find your star, and focus on it. Instead of focusing on counting the people with Covid-19, focus on keeping the people you can count on safe. Focus on the gift of life and not the burden of it.

Quarantine has me appreciating the little things....like this view just behind my house. Kenya is so beautiful! How do I not say that everyday?

Instead of panicking about the current state of the healthcare system, let's stay safe and make the best out of the time at home. You’re stuck inside, Idris Elba is stuck inside, everybody is stuck inside. Whether you live alone, with a partner or family, I bet you could use some rest and recharge while saving a life.

You are doing the right thing to stem the spread of COVID-19 by social distancing.

Quarantine in Kisumu for me is a little different. With nature in its raw form, social distancing is not necessarily being stuck in an apartment and am grateful for that. I learnt to fish with a sting and stick, but that's a story for another day.

But then again quarantine means different things for everyone. How is it for you from where you are at?
